This January, as we settle into the rhythm of a new year, let’s draw a little inspiration from Coco Chanel. Let’s embrace simplicity, the beauty of living with intention, and the quiet power of jewelry that doesn’t shout but redefines how you feel—and how you show up.
When a new client pauses at my window and steps inside the gallery, I see it as the beginning of a journey. They’ve been captivated by something in the display—something different, something that resonates. They’re intrigued but may not yet see how they could pull off this new style. Often, they’ve been wearing what everyone else is: layered chains, stacks of pendants over casual outfits. Not because they love it, but because it feels safe....everybody is doing it. After all, standing out takes courage.
But here’s where the shift begins. When they try on one of my pendants, I gently suggest, “Let’s take off what you’re wearing for a moment.” It’s not about rejecting their choices; it’s about introducing them to something fresh. And then, it happens—they see it. The simplicity. The focus. That single piece, standing alone, transforms their perspective. It’s no longer about wearing what’s expected; it’s about discovering how refined simplicity feels authentic to them.
ZADEH is about stripping away the noise. It’s about trusting your instincts, letting go of trends and daring to wear something nobody else does. Coco Chanel once said, “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off.” If she were here today, she might say, “Take everything off and start fresh.”
Coco didn’t follow trends—she started them. During wartime, she reimagined humble jersey fabric as something luxurious and iconic, a fearless ingenuity that has always inspired me. I also work with humble materials like parachute cord and buffalo horn—unexpected materials that, in my hands, transform into timeless, wearable art.
As Coco said, “Luxury must be comfortable; otherwise, it is not luxury.” And I’d add: luxury must be effortless. Our designs fit seamlessly into your life, whether you’re in the shower, wearing jeans and a T-shirt, or attending a black-tie event.

Just as Coco redefined fashion, ZADEH redefines the way to wear jewelry, making chic look effortless.
